Sights in Mito

Kairakuen park
It takes 15 min by bus from Mito station north. This park is very big in conjunction with Senba lake park. This park is counted as "Big three" in Japan (the others Kenrokuen park in Kanazawa and Kourakuen in Okayama).
There are a lot of plum trees and in March there are a lot of travelers nationwide and some from foreign countries. The entrance fee is free (except Koubuntei, former Tokugawa's house inside the park)
