Hirakata City is located in the north-east part of the Osaka prefecture in mid-west Japan. Situated between Kyoto, the ancient capitol, and Osaka City, the city's commercial epicenter - Hirakata City is a city of well balanced extremes. Most of the hotels are located IN Osaka by addresss. One of the city's more popular attractions is the Kagiya Inn Museum which was used in the 16th century by those traveling along the Yodo River. If you are traveling with children, be sure to check out the Hirakata Amusement Park which features five roller coasters. Your dining options are almost unlimited in Hirakata and the surrounding Osaka City. Banjara and Aja Kaja are both fine Indian restaurants.
