Zhongshan City, town of the great Dr. Sun Yat-Sen, is situated in the Pearl River Delta. The beautiful city of Zhongshan not only offers gorgeous natural views to its tourists, but fabulous Zhong Shan shopping as well. Although Zhong Shan has a population of over 1.3 million people, it is not as large as its neighboring cities. This factor and because its location is by the waterways, can offer Zhong Shan shopping at incredibly lower prices than other larger cities, such as Hong Kong. There are numerous shopping destinations to choose from. One can find the delicious popular almond cakes and fresh juicy pineapples here, and of course popular international import and domestic items.

Victoria Plaza Shopping Center

This mall is one of the largest indoor malls in China, and offers over 400 specialty stores and restaurants. This is a great place to find a bargain. It boasts a 3-storey underground shopping center.

Taipei Zhongshan Underground Metro Shopping Mall

This beautiful underground mall is one of the largest underground malls in the world. It offers numerous stores along with views of gardens and pools of water for relaxation as you shop.

Friendship Shopping Center

There are lots of imported goods here with items of brand names. It is located along the area of Renmin Lu and Zhongshan Square.

Renmin Lu Street Area

Stores with many high end items, such as Gucci and Armani can be found here. The Times Square shopping area is along this street and carries more upscale goods. Bus transportation is offered here and goes down this street and another popular shopping street of Renmin Dajie.

Zhong Shan Sanxiang Guhe Area

There is an antique furniture area here that prices its pieces quite high, but bargaining is certainly an option. Do keep in mind that many of these pieces are actually just new replicas of originals.

Tianjin Street

This street runs from Victoria Square to nearby Zhong Shan Square. Here you will find shopping centers and department stores, along with several little stalls all along the road, selling a variety of unique items.

Metro Mall

The Metro Mall is located in the Shiqi district. It hosts the largest shopping mall in downtown Zhong Shan, with its 7 floors of stores and specialty shops, restaurants and hotels.

Qingniwaqiao

This is one of the largest retailer areas in Northeast China, and is situated on Youhao Jie. Qingniwaqiao shopping area boasts department stores and specialty shops with designer clothing.
