Sights in Kashgar
Edit ThisSunday Market
Edit ThisThe Sunday market (held on the river east of town) is an amazing event featuring vendors of everything from exotic knives to camels. There are so many things going on, and the market is so colorful that you will have problems reloading your camera with new films in time.
The parts you should not miss at any instance include the donkey market (yes, you can take a test drive), the sheep market, and the barbers street, where men sit in line outside and are shaven one aftre the other.

Id kah Mosque
Edit ThisThe onion-domed Aidkah Mosque is more than 400 years old and the tomb of 17th-century ruler Abakh Khoja contains the remains of 70 of his descendants.
In front of the mosque is a big square, where people meet. In the streets close to the mosque you can get good souvenirs.

Oasis
Edit ThisOne of the best things to do is rent a bike and go for a trip in the oasis. Ther are a few tombs of saints you can visit, but the nicest thing about it is to just enjoy the landscape and the friendly people.
