Edit ThisChengdu, the capital of Sichuan province is Lhasa's window on the world. Flights to Lhasa depart Chengdu twice (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) or three times (Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday)daily and cost 1200 yuan. There are three flights a week between Lhasa and Beijing-on Monday, Thursday and Sunday via Chengdu. From Beijing a ticket costs 1940 yuan. You might also fly out from Chongqing every Saturday to Lhasa (1300 yuan). The flights from Xi'an to Lhasa (1320 yuan) fly four times a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday).
