Alibabas has always been at the top of the heap for nightlife in guidebooks until this year when they over looked it thinking that it was out of business. Truth be told, the old building was demolished and Alibabas moved across from the University in a small Alley. Still same ownership and employees. Now they offer free internet access and have a "take a book / leave a book" program. Beer is still the best deal in town at 8 RMB ($1) per 600ml bottle! Food is cheap but service can be very slow. Still the most lively place in town for expats on friday and saturday nights.
