Getting There

Air

There are flights to Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Nagora in Japan. Also there are daily flights to major cities across the country.

There are also plenty of domestic flights into Chongqing. Jiangbei International Airport is linked to the city by expressway, and is 21km from the city center.

Boat

There are 107 cruisers plying on the Yangtze River, and also boats from Chongqing to Leshan.

Train

Chongqing is linked to Chengdu (11 hours) by rail, with direct links also to Kunming, Guangzhou, Xi'an, Beijing and Shanghai (which takes two days), Guiyang, Nanjing and Kunming.

Bus

There are direct bus routes between Chongqing and Chengdu, Yibin, Zigong and Dazu. Some companies are now also running air-conditioned buses.
