Getting There

Transportation in pingyao is easy.You can take a train, a bus to pingyao from Beijing or Xi'an. With the opening of the new expressway it is only a 6 hour drive from Beijing. If you come from the places in the south ,you can take a plane  to Taiyuan,the capital of North China's shanxi province and then a bus or a taxi to pingyao.
