Qinhuaihe River

The Qinhuaihe River is a bustling commercial district with a dense population during the Six Dynasties Period and the downtown area in the Ming and Qing dynasties.Today it has became a tourist attraction and a commercial center with a unique ancient style.

Mochou lake

Mochou lake got the name from a beautiful legend about Mochou, a girl from Luoyang. Places of interest on the lake are the Chess Tower, Moon-embracing Tower and the Cemetery for Generals.

Confucius Temple

The Temple of Confucius is located on the Qinhuaihe River. The central Temple of Confucius itself resembles a Disney Confucian theme park inside, complete with mannequins in fancy dress.

The Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum

The Sun Yat-sen Mausoleum is the memorial to the father of the modern China, the great revolutionary forerunner, Dr. SunYat-sen (1866-1925). The temple itself is divided into two chambers, the memorial ceremony chamber and the coffin chamber.

The Ming City Walls

with 33 km, The Ming City Walls are the longest city wall in the world. And it took over 200,000 people build it during 1366 - 1386. Bricks from five provinces were used and each brick has been stamped with the origin, the overseer's name and rank, the bricklayer's name, and sometimes the date.
