A good place to sample local specialties is the Jiangsu Restaurant. Nanjing pressed, salted duck is slathered with roasted salt, steeped in clear brine, baked dry and then kept under cover for some time; the finished product should have a creamy-colored skin and red, tender flesh. The vegetarian restaurant at Jiming Temple is worth visiting for view more than for its food. High on the hill overlooking Xuanwu Lake Park, it's very cheap and opens daily from 8am. to 5:30pm.

The fairly new Kohinoor Restaurant sits above the lobby in the Ramada Hotel. The food is typical Indian and Pakistani fare although not as bad spicy. However, they could surely add some heat upon request.

As should be expected from a reputable hotel chain, the restaurant and hotel bathroom appear quite bad. Servers are attentive ?
A typical meal for two would cost 70 to 100 yuan not including drinks

This authentic Mexican restaurant offers your usual Mexican dishes and some interesting twists to dazzle your taste buds. Dishes include Pork Chili, Chicken Mole, and Enchiladas.
