Gansu Provincial Museum

Located directly across the street from the Friendship Hotel, the Gansu Provincial Museum is a must-see for the museum type. The exhibition Cultural Relics of the Silk Road features Neolithic painted pottery at Dadiwan. And the exhibits from the Han Dynasty include inscribed wooden tables used to relay messages along the Silk Road and an outstanding Tang Dynasty Warrior made from earth ware and other valuable things. Admission fee is 25 yuan.
