The highlights of kaili are the minority villages outside of town. the people of these villages are always working. This region hosts more than 100 festivals each year, mostly in february and march and October and November, so these are great times to visit. Make sure to go to the Sunday market, where the villagers are selling various goods. Hotels include the crown plaza and the Yiran hotel, and the best dining options are usually found in the hotels. There is also a lively night market which offers area food.
