Hong Kong Disneyland

Edit This
Hong Kong Disneyland opened in the Fall of 2005.  There are about one-third the number of attractions of most Disney resorts, but a great introduction to the Disney culture for first-timers.

The park definitely targets Asian visitors--you'll see Mickey Mouse in a silk Chinese shirt and the vast majority of dishes offered in the restaurants are Asian.  Most attractions are in dual-language (Cantonese and English) mode.  You can do the whole park in one day.

The park is easily accessed via a 30-minute tram/subway ride from Hong Kong or Kowloon.   For longer-term visitors, two Disney hotels are located near the theme park.  Adult admission ticket prices are about $38 (USD) during the week and $45 (USD) on the weekends.
