Getting Around in Hainan island

There is no rail network on Hainan Island, but a reliable bus service covers the entire island. The fare is 1 yuan for any destination in the city. From Sanya bus station there’re deluxe buses for Haikou (75 yuan).The express buses to Haikou take around 3.5 hours. Taxi: 10 yuan average fare. Fares start at 12.8 yuan for the first 3km, 2 yuan per km.
