Xiangbi Shan (Elephant Trunk Hill)
Edit ThisAs one of the most famous hills in Guilin, Xiangbi Shan once appeared on Renminbi (Chinese currency) back-note. Lying at the confluence of Lijiang River and Yangjiang River, the hill in the southern part of town leans out into the Li River like the trunk of an elephant. The reflection of the hole in the water is the exact image of a full moon, and hence its name Moon-in-the-Water Arch.
