Top 5 Must Do's in Guangzhou
Edit ThisThere are different things to do in Guangzhou. These must do's should be the top of the list of any tourist.
1. Guangdong Museum of Arts
This museum offers an exhibition site for the artists of Guangzhou. There are as many as 60 exhibits in the museum and some showcase art form many different cultures. The museum focuses on the contemporary arts and it also has a Sculpture Garden.
The museum is located on 38 Yaniu Road and it can be reached mainly by bus. The museum opens at 9:00 a.m and it closes down at 5:00 p.m. It's closed on Mondays. Children don't have to pay the admission price if they are accompanied by an adult.
2. Visiting Yuntai Garden
This garden can be reached by taking the tour bus lines 1 and 3. This garden has a 3-D flower arrangement that people are able to enjoy. The flowers are arranged in different shapes, such as people and even pandas. The garden is located against a backdrop of green hills. The admission fee ranges from $10 to $20 Yuan.
3. Enjoying the Canton Fair
This fair takes place twice a year. This is a good opportunity for people to see the main exports and goods that are manufactured in China. During this time it is hard to find a suitable hotel room, because the city gets crowded with people attending this venue. People can find anything from electronic goods to clothing. Take metro line number 2 on the way to Pa Zhao to attend this festival.
4. Eating at Pan Xi Restaurant
Tasting the food of the Pan Xi restaurant should be on anyone's Guang Zho must do list. The food is traditional in every sense. The restaurant specializes in dumplings and Cantonese traditional cuisine. Pan Xi Restaurant is located at 151 Long Xi Lu.
5. Dancing at The Cave
The Cave is one of those dance clubs that pushes the envelope. The club has one of the best DJ's of the Northern Asia region and it offers some exotic dances. There is a python dance, and the dance floor is always full and upbeat. The dance club is located in the basement of 360 Huangshi Dong Lu and it can be reached by taxi cab.
