Airport:

Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport provides MORE THAN 20 international airlines and regional airlines, flying to more than 70 cities at home and abroad.  It takes about 30 minutes to get to the center of the city via taxi.

Bus service:
including motorbuses, trolleybuses, and buses for special lines.
There is no conductor on these buses, and the price of a ticket is 1 yuan (RMB), but the prices for some long lines are 2-4 yuan (RMB).


Subway service:
No. 1 subway line is made up of 16 stations. It begins from Guangzhou East Railway Station in the east to Xilang in the west. The whole journey will take about 32 minutes.
No. 2-4 subways are also open now.
The prices are 2-9 yuan (RMB).


Taxi service:
The starting price is 7 yuan (RMB), 2.2~2.6 yuan (RMB) for per kilometer.

Note: You don't have to pay tips in Guangzhou, but you may still do so. Don't be offended if they refuse the tip.

There is a card named "Yang Cheng Tong" which allows you to ride all major transportations (including subway, bus, and taxi) without using cash. the card also works in low cost facilities, such as convinient stores, supermarket, parking, and selected parks. 30 yuan deposit, with 500 yuan maximum value.
