Beaches in United Arab Emirates
Edit ThisUAE is one of the wealthiest countries in the world, and is truly amazing to visit. But a trip to the United Arab Emirates is incomplete if you are not experiencing its famous beaches. The most famous United Arab Emirates Beaches are featured below:
Jumeirah Beach, Dubai
Jumeirah Beach is undoubtedly the most famous beach in all of UAE. It is a long stretch of sand flanked by world’s best hotels, a nice beach park, and some very exclusive beach clubs. The soft, white sand and shallow, turquoise water of the Arabian Sea are sure to mesmerize you. The beach is crowded during the weekends. Standing tall near this beach is the world’s most costly hotel, Al Burj, or the Burj Towers. If you are visiting UAE, it is a must to enjoy the hospitality of Al Burj and view the beauty of Jumeirah Beach it offers from its glass windows. Opened in 1989, The Jumeirah Beach Park creates a striking green contrast along the coastline, with the white sand and the blue water. The best time to visit this part of the country is during winter, when the temperature is around 15 degrees Celsius. Summer is uncomfortably hot here, with temperatures reaching 50 degrees Celsius.
Palm Beach & Island, Dubai
Palm Beach and Island is the first man-made island in the world, and is often referred to as the "eighth wonder of the world." Its construction took more than 5 years to complete. This beach and island contains numerous luxury hotels, magnificent private villas, and lovely shoreline apartments. The beach has water theme parks, restaurants, the world’s best shopping malls, sports facilities, health spas, cinemas and various dive sites. The beach is very clear and very good for snorkeling, unless you find jellyfish obstructing your vision. Take a helicopter tour of the Palm Island and the beach; the view from the top is just exhilarating.
Corinche, Abu Dhabi
Abu Dhabi is the wealthiest city in the world; this can be noticed everywhere in the city. Abu Dhabi has a 400-kilometer coastline, and every inch of it is clean. The Corinche, or the road along the beach, has recently undergone massive renovation. The stunning skyscrapers add a unique dimension to the beach and the coastline. Abu Dhabi's beach is one of best-maintained in the world, with facilities like resorts, hotels, extreme watersport facilities, beach restaurants, cafes, and picnic and barbeque facilities . The water is crystal clear, and is great for swimming and snorkeling. Keep in mind, however, that while swimsuits are allowed to be worn on Abu Dhabi beaches, you must cover up when going back to your hotel or the main city.
