Festivals in Abu dhabi

If you travel to Abu Dhabi during 1 of these lavish festivals, you will certainly enjoy yourself.
Abu Dhabi International Motor Show
This December festival that occurs every other year and is probably the most popular in Abu Dhabi. It draws in massive crowds from not only all over the Middle East, but from all over the world. This extravagant event features every kind of vehicle from heavy motor vehicles to go-karts. It also displays all sorts of accessories, high tech gadgets, lubricants, and garages for the cars. Hundreds of manufacturers and marketing agents from various parts of the globe attend the motor show, so it is a great place not just for car lovers but for people who want to do some networking as well. Tickets are 10 Dirhams each; it is highly recommended to get tickets as early as possible.
Abu Dhabi Shopping Festival
The month of March brings about Abu Dhabi's huge festival dedicated to shopping. This is one of the most popular activities for tourists in the city. Throughout all of the area's comfortable, air conditioned malls are festive decorations to entice shoppers in to look at all of the unique products on sale. Discounts are offered and prizes can be won during the extent of the festival. It is the perfect time to buy clothing, perfumes, electronics, carpets, tools, wallets and much more.
Other Festivals
The Abu Dhabi International Jewelry and Watch Show takes place in September or October, depending on the year. The Al Ain International Aerobatic Show at the end of January features a world class display of flying and stunts. For a taste of the arts, travel to Abu Dhabi during the Middle East International Film Festival, the Al Ain International Music Festival in March that features classical music, the International Fine Art and Antiques Fair or the Abu Dhabi Salsa and Jazz Festival. Lovers of literature will enjoy the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair while those who prefer a more traditional look at the city will appreciate the annual camel races. This modern city really has a little something for everyone when it comes to festivals.
