When to Go in Pamukale

Pamukale is a small resort town located in the Aegean region next to Denizli, but although in this region, it has no typical Aegean climate. Instead, its climate is much more similar to the continental climate. In Pamukale, you can experience hot summers and pleasant mild winters.
Summer
The summer here is sunny and relatively dry. Small amounts of rain fall every month, without exceeding 3cm. The driest month is August, with a rainfall of sometimes less than 1cm. Temperatures are usually between 30°C and 32 degrees Celsius. The hottest month is July, with day temperatures sometimes reaching up to 41 degrees Celsius. Nights get no colder than 15 degrees Celsius, but are generally much warmer. The summer season, due to its high temperatures, is much more suitable for seeing some sights like the Pamukale travertines, the Kaklik caves or the Hierapolis, instead of bathing in the famous Pamukale hot springs.
Winter
The winter is mild and a bit rainy. Rain levels reach up to 9cm per month. Temperatures rarely fall below 0 degrees Celsius, with minimums sometimes reaching -2 degrees Celsius in January, which is the coldest winter month in Pamukale. However, the average winter temperatures are much higher, in range between 10 degrees Celsius and 15 degrees Celsius. The winter season is ideal for using the Pamukale thermal springs, since you can warm yourself up in the hot mineral waters during colder days. The waters have therapeutical effect as well.
