However, the Fethiye Bars and Cafes will keep you entertained. You'll dance the night away in a wide variety of different styles in Fethiye.
Sobe Tapas and Drinks Bar
The Sobe Tapas and Drinks bar will dazzle you with the Latin rhythms that play through the night. Although fun is definitely not prohibited in this establishment, it is quite a sophisticated place. The upstairs portion of the bar is a fully functioning restaurant for those who want to escape the crowds and enjoy a finely cooked meal. An additional treat is the large picture window where guests can enjoy their dinner while taking in the majestic view of the harbor outside. The Sobe Tapas bar offers Salsa lessons in Thursday nights and a local guitarist on Saturdays playing classical Spanish and Turkish tunes from the 1930s to the present day.
Car Cemetery Bar
If you enjoy a noisy dance hall, then the Car Cemetery Bar is the place for you. Inside, the younger crowds dance the night away while the older groups venture outside for some quiet and pleasant company. The Car Cemetery Bar is a great place and has quite a loyal following. Some vacationers have been using it as a meeting place since the early 1990s as a way to meet up with fellow visitors to the area. Another perk to the Car Cemetery Bar is that it is located behind a Turkish bath.
Georges Cocktail Bar
Georges Cocktail Bar is a great place to relax and enjoy the great weather. The atmosphere is warm and very welcoming, with many visitors spending large portions of their holidays there. The cocktail prices at George's range from reasonable to excellent. They are the perfect treat for a hot, sunny Turkish day. The rules of etiquette are quite relaxed at George's but civility is always appreciated.
The Ottoman Bar
A visit to The Ottoman Bar is the perfect way to get to know the locals. The reason being, the dance floor is so small you're literally bumping up against the person next to you. The Ottoman Bar is a great, relaxed pub that allows dancing. The music variety if quieter varied playing everything from Jazz to Hip Hop. Guests are welcome to gaze at all the Ottoman regalia on the walls, some of which is for sale. The Ottoman Bar is a great place for small crowds to meet. Get in before 10 p.m. and you might get a nice corner table to yourself.
