Hotels

Generally speaking quite a high percentage of the entertainment in this area is hotel based although Dalaman itself is lively and inviting in the evenings. Nightlife is varied from resort to resort in the general Dalaman area. Fethiye and Icelmeler are also very popular clubbing and drinking hotspots. There are many good value bars and restaurants in Dalaman which is only a short taxi cab ride from the neighbouring Marmaris, home of wilder nightlife where one can dance till dawn in the clubs.

Bars, Pubs, and Clubs

The Malibu Beach Bar attracts a very young and lively good-time clientele and is more geared towards groups of party-going holiday makers rather than families or serious travelers. Take a walk down Bar Street in Marmaris for every type of pub and club you could ever need. Quite a raucous atmosphere pervades this street so do bear this in mind when venturing into the area. It has a long held a reputation as party central in the Dalaman area with its laser shows and theme and karaoke bars filled with late night revelers.  

Also there are plenty of smaller local and intimate bars in the Dalaman region for those travelers who are on holiday for some rest and relaxation.

All-Inclusives

Bear in mind that many of the 4 and 5-star hotels in this region are completely All Inclusive, with full board and all drinks being available to all guests. One of these hotels is the Hilton Dalaman Golf Resort and Spa which opened in the summer of 2009. As is common in this genre of Turkish hotel, there are many bars--including a rooftop option. Entertainment in this hotel, again as is the norm, is self-contained and usually of a good standard that is more suited to families and couples.
