Some documentation is needed for visitors to enter Turkey. Every traveler will need an updated passport; in addition, visitors will need a visa also. The less stressful way to acquire a visa is to go to the separate visa sales clerk before you enter the line for passport control. If you are coming from the United Kingdom it is preferred that you get a visa from a Turkish consulate before departing for Turkey.
