Antalya in Turkey offers a good many Antalya Family Travel ideas. If you are travelling as a large family with the kids in tow, you are sure to find a host of activities to keep everyone busy. Whether they may be young or old, there’s something for everybody here. This guide lists some things to do when travelling with your family to Antalya.

Beachside Revelery

Antalya is known for its sunny days and pristine beaches, thus making a perfect vacation spot. There are a couple of good beaches that should not be missed when here. Lara and Konyaalti beaches have the longest stretches of sand, bordered by turquoise waters. These beaches also house many beach bars, restaurants and clubs. Then there is the Kemer beach which is made up of two sections, one with pebbles and the other with sand. There are a couple of resorts here too. Lastly, a not to be missed beach is the Pamucak Beach, which sees a lot of swimmers and surfers alike.

Dolphinarium & Aquapark

Here, kids and adults can watch a dolphin show, touch them and even swim with them! And for a fun filled experience, the entire family can also head to the Aquapark which has many gigantic and colorful water slides, rafting and bungee jumping facilities.

Jeep Safari

Spend an entire day filled with adventure and fun, then head off to towards the Taurus Mountains in a jeep safari. The roads are often winding and narrow and you can expect to drive through pine forests, with the trees towering above your heads. And after the long drive, the entire family can cool off under a gushing waterfall located in the area. There are many travel operators who organize such 1-day tours.

Side Ruins

Visit the ancient Roman town of Side and get awe-inspired by the giant coliseum and ruins from the Roman era. There are many restaurants and cafes here as well as a bustling market. And, a must see when here is the beautiful Temple of Apollo and the Athena Temple. Other attractions in the area include Side’s ancient theatre, which is now being reconstructed, a library and many other ruins. This will be a good trip for the adults and children as it will be very informative.

Gulluk National Park

Visit this national park which houses a grand variety of flora and fauna. In this peaceful environment, there is a lot to see and enjoy such as the dense pine forests, waterfalls and the ancient city of Termessos complete with its ruins from back in the day. There are some picnic sites here and also a buffet and cafeteria service.
