Turkey Central

Great value Turkish food, plus superb and very reasonable carry outs.

I know Turkish food very well, and I must say that they mixed Turkish and Arabic food, and the result is not exciting. Just one example: "fried liver" is absolutely a different dish than the original Turkish one. However, the shish tawooq is amazing and most of the mezza are excellent, particularly the chili labneh.

Extremely good value, and, if one is new to the wide and varied food-types available in Doha, this is certainly a tasty introduction to some more..

Bukhara

The jewel in Sterling catering's crown. Upmarket Indian restaurant. Very good food, nicely served.

Al Sultan

Located on Fariq Al Nasr (Mirghab Street), this restaurant provides excellent food at a great price. The selection of mezze is delicious and the plentiful breads accompanying the dishes enhances the authentic Lebanese dishes. Great take away service as well.

Good quality Filipino food in comfortable surroundings. Filipino Restaurant Ras Abou Aboud 421232 40 The first Filipino restaurant in Doha, this is family run and serves good quality food.

American style food. Adequate food, friendly staff.  It's a place you can hang out when you have had just so much of the local culture and need a break (it happens...).  Good memorabilia.

Colosseum

Probably the nicest Italian restaurant in town. They also have a small shop selling Italian water, cheeses, coffee etc. Highly Recommended !

One of the oldest and best loved cheap restaurants.in town. Do a daily buffet for about QR 42. Not very atmospheric but they do home deliveries - which are very popular with expats.

One of the more popular Lebanese restaurants in town. Excellent mezze and kebabs, superb home baked bread. Carry outs available. Nice decor.

2 branches - one (old) at Abu Firas behind the Emiri Diwan and one (new) near TV roundabout 426128 (old) 864440 (new) 50 The newer branch has nicer decor but in both the food is good and excellent value, especially the QR 26 buffet!
