Aqaba not only offers a great selection of hand-crafted souvenirs, such as the traditional
Bedouin jewellery, sand bottles, etc., but also excellent modern and traditional jewellery
in gold and silver, at exceptionally good prices. Most of the shops open from
( 09h30 – 14h00 ) & from ( 17h00 – 22h00 ).
The Queen Noor Hussein Foundation, which supports local craftspeople, offers a
selection of handmade clothing, carpets, cushion covers, wall-hangings, pottery &
glassware. Located in front of the fort ( 08h00 – 16h00 ).
AQABA GATEWAY COMPLEX
Has a selection of restaurants, bars & shops including the “Jordan Experience” which is a 3D
Imax-like movie theater. The theater takes you on a 25-minute flight to Jordan's natural and
cultural treasures. Price of ticket is equal to ( JD 6 ). The English show plays all days of the week
for 30 min. & is available at ( 12h00 ), ( 13h00 ), ( 14h00 ), ( 15h00 ), ( 16h00 ) & ( 17h00
