The Golan Heights are a beautiful mountain range towering over the Sea of Galilee (The Kineret). The highest peak in this range is called Mount Hermon. There is even winter skiing at the top of this mountain. Throughout the range are hikes through creeks and canyons, that sometimes lead to waterfalls and springs. The very source of the Jordan River can be traced to this region of Israel.
