Orumiyeh was also known as Rezaiye between 1930-1975.Orumieh is an ancient city dating back to the middle of the 2nd millennium BC. An interesting places to see ate a Church with a tall, square belfry , dedicated to the Virgin Mary and its neighbor the Shiite Friday Mosque. Most of the students that travel here and have little money stay in the hostels. For something with more amenities you will have to stay in some of the middle to luxury hotels such as the Darya Hotel, or the Orumeih hotel. The Reza hotel is also a good choice for students. A beautifull place is the latgest Iranian
