Based in western Iran Hamaden is 1850 meters above sea level with beautiful historic veiws. It is the oldest city in Iran and one of the oldest cities in the world. Allthough lacking in traditional food and shopping venues there are still many beautiful sights in Hamadan. The tomb of the famous Iriaian scientist Abu Ali Sina can be seen along with the tomb of Astaru Mardkhai who was the Jewish wife of Xexis who was mentioned in the bible. Among the most interesting point of Hamdan are its numerous caves that surround the city. The biggest cave being Ali Sadr which stretches over 60KM long. Hamadan is a beautiful historic city that is just waiting to be explored.
