Eating Out
Edit ThisThe beach promenade offers a wide choice of international and mezze restaurants. They are more or less similarly priced. A beautiful view and delicious food can be enjoyed when you have dinner at the old harbour restaurants.
Pavarottis restaurant is a fantastic place to dine. The food is out of this world, service is excellent and the building reminds me of a 16th century building in Rome. It is an experience and a half, and what I found amazing is that their prices are cheap in comparison to what they offer. One can dine at Pavarottis and have a three course meal starting from 18 Cyprus pound per person to 32 Cyprus pound per person. The average spend is about 24 Cyprus pound. It is worth every cent. Do not miss this one.
unfortunatly pavarottis closed down at the end of 2007
one can find the chef and propridor at his other restaurant SIENNA
the food at Sienna is simply fantastic , the service probably the best the island can provide and siennas prices are cheap to what they offer. the avarage spend is 19euro per person. it is open 12 months a year
Try Alexandy's at the very end of Bar Street, Great foot good conversation, Andy the owner is a blast & nice surroundings. Opposite the taxi rank near the Robing Hood Pub

Neraida
Edit ThisKeep out of Neraida restaurant in Paphos! Although nice view from a deck, however be quick to be seated there - waiters will ignore any of your request unless you press them really hard (even though they are fully aware of you waiting). Waiting time for food - 40minutes - one hour (my small son was so tired that he was falling asleep in a high chair (very dirty and sticky, btw)). A waiter lied about fiillet - there were so many bones in the fish that it was difficult to find any flesh. MOst of fish deep frozen, though the restaurant is at the see side and it is a seafood more..
