Eating Out

In the old city part of Laiki Ytonia you will easily find dozens of nice restaurants, mostly traditional meze restaurants, some with 'buzuki bands'. Often a waiter is posted at the entrance to entice passers-by to venture in. Do not feel forced to enter, but do not avoid entering either, most of them are really fine, although a bit more expensive.

George Grivas Avenue is lined with restaurants, always packed with a local young crowd. In the modern shopping area of Makarios III Ave. you will find several pleasant cafés.
