The Limassol Sculpture park is situated on the waterfront of Limassol and it is the only one of its type in Cyprus. It was created between 1999 and 2001 during 3 international sculpture symosia. It hosts 20 public sculptures of medium to large scale the most notable of which were created by Victor Bonato, George Tsaras and the Limassolian avant guard artist Helene Black.

Limassol Castle

The castle is situated near the old harbour and it is build in typical 12th century structure. At a later date it is restored by the Venetians. Although the structure is not very impressive today, it is still of its own historical importance. And there is a quite interesting medieval museum inside, which is worth a visit. Folk Art Museum

Old Harbour

City Park and Zoo
Edit ThisAbout a mile eastwards from the Old Harbour you reach the small but very green city park, which has a small zoo and an open air theatre. It is near the seacoast and not far from the Limassol Archeological Museum.

Limassol Archaeological Museum
Edit ThisThe museum has on exhibit a large number of stone axes, knives and arrow heads, tools and various fragments recovered from Amathous and other sites. Coins and jewels of different periods are also on display.
Opening Hours: Mon - Fri from 7.30am till 5pm and Sun from 10am till 1pm.
