Limassol beaches - Pentakomo to Pissouri

Edit This

I would divide Limassol beaches into 2 groups.  Those closer to the city, which invariably have wave breakers, and are well organised, and those further away, which are relatively untouched and may have more interest for those of use looking for a more natural environment and variety.

In the east you will see beaches with dark sand and white rock formations, while in the (far) west you will see rougher seas, some of them even dangerous, pebble or pebble with sand and cliffs.  A number of these beaches have few visitors even during the hottest summer days.  Lady's mile closer to the west of Limassol is a relatively undeveloped long sandy stretch, just opposite the salt lake of Akrotiri, which is very important for migrating birds.
