Just off the tip of the island of Cyprus are the famous beaches of Ayia Napa. Here is a 7-Day Itinerary for a trip around what was originally a small fisherman’s village that has grown into the Middle East’s tourist resort capital.

Day 1-Nissi Beach

A great way to start off your stay in Cyprus is at the famous Nissi beach. Here you can sit back and relax, soaking in the sun, or take a dip in the tropical Mediterranean waters. Day 3-Boat Safari

One of the best ways to get a feel for Ayia Napa’s beautiful coastline is by a boat tour. Both half and full day safari tour trips up and down the coast. While on the tour you will see the beautiful coastal caves, historic land markings, and the beautiful marine life living in the Mediterranean waters.

Day 4-Waterworld Waterpark

The Waterworld Waterpark is a great place to spend the day in the water and sunshine with a slight change of scenery from the beach. A day pass is around $20 a person and is well worth it for a daylong adventure through over 18 water attractions and slides.

Day 5-Historical Adventure

The original downtown area of Ayia Napa is home to historically significant monasteries dating back to the 1500s. Roaming through these historical buildings in the daytime will take you back to the Venetian-era and let you truly appreciate the town's past. This same area of town after dusk becomes the central streets for the tourism nightlife where you can enjoy a variety of clubs.

Day 6-Windsurfing and Paragliding

Water sports are one of the many beach side attractions in Ayia Napa. The daily paragliding, windsurfing, and sailing lessons are available for all skill levels.  Beach shop services are available daily from 9a.m. to 6 p.m.

Day 7-Makarios Avenue Markets

A great way to wrap up your trip is spending the day downtown off Makarios Avenue shopping for a variety of goods. The great part about the market along this street is the convenient overhead coverings to keep you cool from the sun as your browse for gifts and souvenirs.
