Eating Out
Edit ThisA Zambian will tell you they haven't eaten unless they've had nshima, the stiff porridge made from mealie meal (corm meal). It's a great comfort food, usually eaten with meat and a variety of bean and vegetable dishes. Also recommended are roasted mealie cobs, boiled ground nuts and the local Mosi beer which is a little lighter than Castle.
If you're not eating in someone's home you're more likely to get western style food, or even Indian, Chinese or a kebab.
