Antelopes at Mburo

Lake Mburo is one the main road about half way between Masaka and Mbarara in the South West of Uganda. It is home to a large number of Hippos, zebra and various antelope and impala.
It is Savanah type slightly undulating land.
Facilities are basic with Bandas and tented camps in the centre of the park. There is a restaurant operated by the park rangers near the lake shore.
Bookings can be made in the Uganda NP office in Kampala or at the gate (sometimes)
Off road vehicles are probably best, despite a good track into the park.
