Getting There
Edit ThisTaxis
Edit ThisOn landing at Entebe International Airport it is easier to use special hire taxi to Kampala. It costs around only Ug shs 40,000/=. It is also easy to hike a lift from people coming from the airport. This is only safe if the car has come to pick a passenger. Otherwise public transport is available at around Ug shs 2,000/= to Kampala. The journey normally takes 45 minutes.
Bus
Edit ThisIt is possible to get bus tickets between Nairobi, Kenya and Kampala for less than $50. One good company is Akamba; seats are comfortable and service includes an on-board toilet, movies, as well as small snacks and beverages. The bus will stop at the border for immigration services and continue once everyone has reboarded the bus.
