Ghomrassen Travel Guide

Ghomrassen is located in the south of Tunisia. It's a nice place to visit. The town is surrounded by mountians and you have great views of the sanctuary perched on a cliff right over the centre.

Take some time to visit the caves and climb up the the sanctuary to get a good view over the surroundings.

The most famous attraction is the Ksar Hadada: it was here that parts of Star Wars was filmed - it is not as famous or nice as Hotel Sidi Driss in  Matmata though. The Ksar was turned into a hotel. It was closed in 2001 but it was supposed to open again...
