Camping

Camping in the crater is forbidden. Everybody must leave the crater floor at 6 PM. There are, however a couple of good lodges at the rim overlooking the crater.

Lodges

The Ngorongoro Crater Lodge is very VERY upmarket. It is nicely layed out in a couple of camps, each with all the luxury you can get including your own butler. But then again: for $575,- per person per night, you may expect something.

Probably the best pick is the Serena Crater Lodge. Big but very nice, each room having it's own balcony or terrace overlooking the crater.
