Near the Lake Hotel. Singles, doubles and triples, self-contained or shared bath rooms in three blocks range from 4000/= for a single to US$40 for a suite; prices are slightly more for non-residents. Comfortable, clean, safe, hot water, AC, TV room.

The name has changed to ELCT Bukoba Hotel.  It is arguably the most convenient--wakíng distance to the airport, to city center and to beach.  Food is "all you can eat" and accomodation probably the best.  No alcohol and the Reception is closed at 22:00 hours.
