Long distance busses

Long distance bus services are provided to numerous destinations. The three main operators are state-owned Translux ( www.translux.co.za), slightly more luxurious Greyhound ( www.greyhound.co.za), and slightly cheaper Intercape Mainliner ( www.intercape.co.za). City to city is Translux' sister company offering no frills services to more rural destinations.

An alternative targeting the backpacker market is the Baz Bus ( www.bazbus.co.za), which will pick up and drop off at certain hostels.
