Edit This

This city has an international airport known as Tambo which serves both local and international carriers. You also have the option of using smaller airports like Rand Airport (Germiston) which allows private planes to land there. If you are coming from Durban, use the N3 Eastern highway and people coming Cape Town or Pretoria use the N1 Western highway. Cities of Kimberley and Witbank connect to Johannesburg via the N12 Southern highway. Roads are well built and maintained.

If you want to travel to Johannesburg, getting there is not a problem.

Johannesburg is one of the most important transportation hubs in South Africa (if not in the region).

Johannesburg boasts one of Africa's few hubs for air travel, with regular connections throughout the continent, as well as to Europe and Australasia.

South Africa's (limited) rail network more or less centers in Johannesburg, providing connections to for example Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, Durban and Pretoria.

Long distance busses connect Johannesburg with cities all over the country as well as some cities in neighbouring countries.
