Located in the eastern part of South Africa, less than 300km north of Durban, the joint Hluhluwe-Umfolozi National Park is one of the oldest and best game parks of South Africa. The Hluhluwe NP and Umfolozi NP joint in 1989. The park is home to great numbers and varieties of amphibians, reptiles, birds and mammal species, including the "Big Five" (lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino and elephant). It is known as one of the sanctuaries of the black rhino.
