The park is a rich ecological zone housing several indigenous species of wildlife, game animals, birds and abundant flora. Grab an open air jeep and get set for an enthralling game drive in the midst of the region’s wilderness. Majestic wild cats, wild elephants, giraffes, zebras, hyenas and host of other animals captivate visitors. The beautiful natural scenery surrounding the region provides the perfect backdrop for bird watching, too.

Take a full-day trip to Oudtshoorn to visit the ancient and dramatic Cango Caves and the exciting Crocodile and Cheetah Park which is a lush tropical reserve housing an assortment of indigenous and hybrid species of gigantic reptiles. There is also an interesting South African Wild Safari Ostrich Ranch that is worth a visit.  The best way to reach Oudtshoorn is to take a private chartered flight.

Hermanus Bay

Watch the mammoth whales from land and catch them in their full splendor while mating and calving in Walker Bay at Hermanus. The region is touted to have the best land-based whale watching opportunites in the world. Visitors can also tour the Fernkloof nature reserve located in Hermanus to view an extensive collection of botanical wonders including the famous local fynbos.

Knysna Elephant Park

Visit the exciting and fun-filled Knysna Elephant Park where visitors can feed, touch and befriend the amiable mammals and take a guided tour of the sprawling park to witness its lush ecology.
