It is called the PalmSwift B&B as there is an enormous palm at the entrance of the house in which these particular swifts nest. The first thing people comment on, on entering the property is the incredible number of trees and their amazing size. Although the garden does not have many flowering plants and shrubs at the moment, the greenery and shade provide an atmosphere of tranquility and the feeling of being out in the country.

Location: In the foothills of the Central Drakensberg with easy access to both the Southern and the Northern 'Berg. Plus the largest arts and crafts ramble in South Africa is on your doorstep.
Architecture: Interesting. It's a 100 year old farmhouse that was originally a Natal Verandah house. Over the years most of the verandahs have been used to expand the living space. In odd ways. It's farmhouse "quirky" now.
