La Roussette is a 2 star Mahe hotel is a great value that is 6 minutes away from the airport. If you have an early morning flight or are getting in late at night this is a great choice. The chef serves fascinating Creole entrees. Their big rooms are clean and air conditioned. A small swimming pool is in a quiet setting.
Beach Resort and Casino
The Berjaya Beau Vallon Bay Beach Resort and Casino is the place to gamble. The convenient location to water sport activities at the beach is great. There are standard rooms, deluxe rooms and suites at this Mahe hotel. Deluxe rooms have a refrigerator, air conditioner, balcony and a flat screen TV. The white sand beaches are a highlight and the pool is nice too. The food at the three restaurants is good. Choose from pizza, Italian and Chinese.

For luxury at the rate of $500 per night enjoy a stay at the waters edge in the Plantation Club. Big rooms have balconies that overlook the beach. The friendly staff and the chef are there to please you. Special diets including vegetarian are easily and deliciously accommodated. There are also other restaurants a short walk away. It is a plantation so you will need to walk around a bit to enjoy the facilities, so it is not a good Mahe hotel for the physically challenged.

Everything is clean and because it is family run the hospitality is warm and plentiful. The white sand beach is just perfect like a postcard. You can snorkel and see turtles. During low tide, you can walk out to a coral reef.
