Nightlife and Entertainment in WarriEdit This
Probably traveling to Warri, Nigeria, will be because of the business. This “oily” city has a big harbor on Niger Delta. It is a really busy place for oil companies. This city has 1 million inhabitants and Warri nightlife is absolutely amazing but probably much better for men than for women. This city is big transit route for oil platforms workers and sailors and that is why the nightlife is more concentrated around night bars and dancing clubs. Tourists will probably spend the whole night long going from one place to another. Bars and clubs are open until late and night hawks will enjoy Warri for sure.
This place is located just outside Edjeba and tourists will probably see a dirty dance floor. The music is great and soon the dirt becomes irrelevant. The place is not particularly cheap but the staff serves all kinds of drinks. It gets really crowded after the rest of the bars in the city get closed. Coming after midnight will probably be the best option.
This is also a dance club with excellent cocktails and music and with a dance floor that is always crowded. You will find it in the city center. Tourists come here for the night out because it has a relaxed atmosphere and people can dance the night away.
Container Bar is just a bit outside the city center and it is for sure the place which is the most crowded in the city. This place is cheap, the atmosphere is easygoing, the music is not that loud and the DJ is really good. The local beer in Container Bar is the cheapest. If you are in Nigeria for the first time be reminded that local beer is made with local water. Maybe the first time you should stick to the foreign beers or vine.
Palm Royal Hotel
This is a place for people who are not much into the hard-core night life. The hotel has great restaurant with excellent local and international food and usually piano music is playing. In west wing of the hotel there is a small bar where you can spend a quiet evening chatting and drinking great cocktails and local beer.
Every village in the area has a festival of its own. When around, be sure to ask about festivals and head to one. The sight is interesting and unique. People are dancing and singing local songs and giving praise to the Lord.
