Christuskirche
Edit ThisWindhoek’s best-recognised landmark, the German Lutheran Christuskirche, stands on a traffic island at the top of Peter Muller Strasse. It is large cathedral, left behind by German colonists in the late 1800s.

National Gallery
Edit ThisThe national Gallery (061) 231160), on the corner of Robert Mugabe Ave and John Meinert Strasse, contains a permanent collection of works reflecting Namibia’s historical and natural heritage. It also hosts visiting exhibition.
