Elephant Reserve
Elephants have been inseparable from Africa, and Maputo offers the
visitors a chance to watch the elephants in their natural habitat. The
Elephant Reserve is located in the peninsula of Santa Maria. It is
recommended to set out early to the reserve. This is the right time to
watch the animals as it's cooler. The elephants are out on a stroll and
you can watch them as they take their leisure baths. At noon it could be
a problem to spot the elephants, as they retire into the shade to avoid
the scorching heat.

historical area of Baixa in Maputo and is a popular sight.
