There are sand dunes in the vicinity of Zagora at Erg Chigaga, which is 60KM out into the Sahara from the village of M'hamid. They are slightly smaller than those at Merzouga, but just as picturesque and if you are there, you should check them out.

We had 2 great trips with this agency, one 3-day trip in April, then 5 days in October, with plenty of good food, a camel each, nice guys to accompany us. They are honest, with 45.- per person with all the food, transport, taxis to the camp and return, included.
The main thing is to be able to relax and enjoy the time in the desert.
